[Music] my name is mike terry i am the CTO of my name is mike terry i am the CTO of lofty it was it was all about inclusion lofty it was it was all about inclusion i think like bringing folks in from i think like bringing folks in from different tracks was a risky move but i different tracks was a risky move but i think it's really paid off for for the think it's really paid off for for the group here to get folks from law AI group here to get folks from law AI [Music] [Music] different areas talking to each other i different areas talking to each other i think is been pretty tremendous so think is been pretty tremendous so getting up there and sharing our story getting up there and sharing our story and how it relates to those things is and how it relates to those things is pretty tremendous well i think i think pretty tremendous well i think i think it's just now becoming available to a it's just now becoming available to a vast majority of developers and business vast majority of developers and business owners and other folks to where really owners and other folks to where really the the barrier to entry is a lot lower the the barrier to entry is a lot lower you can do things at a smaller scale or you can do things at a smaller scale or a large scale with a lot of the same a large scale with a lot of the same tools and really start to get the tools and really start to get the insights and drive action and create insights and drive action and create products using data in a really exciting products using data in a really exciting way I really like people to think about I really like people to think about infusing data into not just these big infusing data into not just these big tech companies but in every organization tech companies but in every organization so from schools to law firms to you know so from schools to law firms to you know small local businesses I think that small local businesses I think that really people need to start thinking really people need to start thinking about this and it doesn't take an entire about this and it doesn't take an entire team of data scientists and engineers to team of data scientists and engineers to really take advantage of the data really take advantage of the data integrations and and other tools and integrations and and other tools and avail available processes that you can avail available processes that you can that you can have [Music] [Music] rise and grind I think it's about the rise and grind I think it's about the hard work that you need to wake up and hard work that you need to wake up and be passionate about and then really you be passionate about and then really you know once you start to get into it know once you start to get into it whether it's in the university or even whether it's in the university or even younger don't get comfortable right so younger don't get comfortable right so be a person that's always challenging be a person that's always challenging yourself to move into whether it's a yourself to move into whether it's a different industry or learn a new different industry or learn a new language because the industry is moving language because the industry is moving quickly and as soon as you get quickly and as soon as you get comfortable then you're no longer a comfortable then you're no longer a great data scientists [Music]
